Sammy, ready for take off at the Seattle airport.
Hello Loves!
If you’re reading this it’s probably because you got an email from us inviting to you read about our life in Denmark in ridiculous detail. Ideally, I’d love to back track and tell you every last little thing, but since that’s NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN, I’ll just jump right into the middle.
Today’s tale is about Sammy dog. After an initial good start, Sammy has had a slight regression problem. By “slight” I mean “peeing in the house at least three times a day, often right after he’s just peed outside.” He’s never done this before so we are on a strict training routine.
The problem is, it is very VERY windy here…so much so that sometimes I have to hold Cate’s hand to get her propelled forwards through particularly tough blasts. I’m not sure if this is normal for this time of year, or a freak trick of the weather, but it’s been going on off and on for a weeks now.
Last night I took Sammy out to do his business. He very obediently lifted his leg to a tree…and was immediately blown over onto his side! Poor baby! And he started out with such high hopes!

Thjat’s funny. Hate to admit it, but I’d kind of like to see that happen in person. (Tee, hee, hee — am I bad?)

BTW, “thjat” is a very Scandinavian spelling of “that.” You’ll find out soon enough.
